English Writing

Teachers:

Cecilia Franzel is an experienced and licensed teacher of the English Language. She taught English for almost 20 years in the Lexington School System. Mrs. Franzel has a passion for teaching students of many cultures and, as an English learner herself, has a deep understanding of what it takes to become fluent in the English language.

Lily Zhu is an alumna of Lexington High School, with a Bachelor's Degree from McGill University, a Massachusetts Educator License, and a passion for teaching kids and inspiring them to enjoy learning.

In this class we will practice your use and mastery of the English language by:

• Writing creatively, analytically, and persuasively,

• Reading a short story, and

• Writing your own short story.

Together, let’s improve your writing and reading skills, unleash your imagination, and have fun!

LYCAL's academic enrichment program is not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency. All children must register for a specific class or lesson and all children must leave upon completing the class or lesson.
